Time Keepers
I'm building Time Keepers, a dark-fantasy 2D online RPG about exploring unfamiliar places, finding Companions and deciding who to trust. Follow a path, open a door, or stop to talk to another Keeper. I want each journey to leave you with a story you didn't expect. Early alpha This is an early look at the game I'm making, not a finished release. The images show work in progress. Some foundations are playable; other features below are still being developed or planned. Not everything in this preview will be available in the first test. Explore beyond the next door From the Island of Knowhere to the Hall of Worlds, I'm building places full of branching paths, strange ruins and hidden discoveries. The longer-term plan combines handmade areas and generated spaces, with doors into very different corners of the world. Make your turn count I'm combining party tactics with timed attacks and defence. Choose your Keeper's weapons, Companions, abilities and items, then make the moment count. I'm developing distinct weapon styles, discoverable magic and encounters that reward preparation as well as a well-timed strike. Find your Companions Meet Lanternjack, Bristlemaw and Hushmoth: three of the Companions taking shape. I'm developing their forms, abilities and personalities alongside Soul Capture, with more discoveries planned through exploration, quests and secrets. Make your own way I want equipment to hold stories, not just numbers: hidden abilities, unusual finds and weapons with secrets to uncover. Crafting, gathering, nearby trading and a personal Door to share with friends are part of the wider plan. Player encounters should feel uncertain, and the gods have their own questionable sense of humour. Help me test it I'm looking for honest feedback on combat, controls, menus, exploration and Companions. Tell me what feels good, what is confusing and what breaks. I'll review applications myself and invite selected players as the test grows. Applying doesn't guarantee a place or immediately unlock a download. Talking Pixels Studios
