Talking Pixels closed test
I’m one developer making a home for small game makers to build, share, test and sell their games, shaped by the people who use it.
What the test is for
I want real creators and players to break things before the public launch. You get early access, a direct line to me through the feedback tools, and your name in the credits if you want it.
What you can do today
- Game pages let you publish your game with the page builder.
- Playtests bring bug reports, surveys and a chart showing where testers quit into one place.
- Selling games includes pay-what-you-want prices and game keys, with bundles for games you want to sell together.
- Press kits give each game a page for its facts, pictures and press contacts.
- Spark campaigns help you gather backers for a game.
- Showcase and Stage let you show games live and invite people from chat onto the stage.
- Devlogs and the following feed keep people up to date with games they care about.
- The mod workshop lets players share mods and game creators review them.
- Achievements give players things to earn in your game.
- Discord announcements share your game’s news in a channel you choose.
- Accessibility tags help players find games that work for them.
- Refunds let players ask for their money back without chasing an email address.
- The translation workspace lets community translators propose words for review.
What creators get
I don’t charge an upfront listing fee. Your game and your page stay yours.
You can export your account data at any time, and creator insights help you see how your games are doing.
I use a payment provider for checkout and payouts. Automatic tax collection isn’t switched on here; you remain responsible for your taxes.
There’s a desktop launcher too.
I’m building a library for your games, including games from other stores, with signed automatic updates, cloud saves and a controller-first couch mode.

Closed testers get it first. Linux and Steam Deck support are on the way, and I’m working on a phone companion. I’ll share a bigger reveal later.
If I approve your application, I’ll email an invite key and explain how to get the launcher.
A few questions
Is it free?
I don’t charge to join the closed test or publish a game page. Buying games and backing Spark campaigns are optional; selling fees are on /fees.
Which platforms can I use?
You can use the website in a browser on a computer, phone or tablet. The desktop launcher is for Windows today; I’m working towards Linux and Steam Deck support.
What happens to my data?
I use your application to choose testers and contact you about the test. You keep ownership of your work and can export your account data. My privacy page explains deletion, retained financial records and backups.
Can I leave?
Yes. You can stop testing at any time. My privacy page explains how to ask me to remove your application; account settings let you request account deletion.
How many testers will you take?
I’m starting with a small group so I can listen and fix things. I’ll invite more people as the test grows; there isn’t a fixed number to promise.
When is the public launch?
I’ll open it when testers tell me it’s ready.
